Atelier Ten Cell/Mobile/Hotspot Policy

The following Atelier Ten employees are eligible to receive the cell phone reimbursement benefit:
 

  • Directors
  • Associate Directors
  • Associates
  • Designated Admin staff (currently only IT)

There are 3 available options:
 

  • Flat $55/month reimbursement
    1. Employee may utilize the carrier of their choosing
    2. Any equipment upgrades will be the employee’s responsibility
    3. Employee will be responsible to submit as a reimbursable expense

  • AT&T Business Plan (Shared Data)
    1. Employee may transfer their existing number or request a new phone number
      1. Employee will be responsible for fees associated with breaking their contract
    2. Equipment upgrades (approximately every 2 years) will be covered by this option
    3. Employee will be bound by the Atelier Ten cell phone usage policy
    4. Data is shared, additional usage policies are in effect (see below)

  • T-Mobile Business Plan (Unlimited Data)
    1. Employee may transfer their existing number or request a new phone number
      1. Employee will be responsible for fees associated with breaking their contract
    2. Equipment upgrades (approximately every 2 years) will be covered by this option
    3. Employee will be bound by the Atelier Ten cell phone usage policy
    4. Data is unlimited

A pool of shared Mobile Hotspots will be provided for those that travel extensively (Currently NH only).


Cell Phone/Mobile/Hotspot usage policy:

  • Employee must understand that data is shared, and as such, data should be used responsibly (AT&T Only)

  • Employee should utilize known/safe wireless networks when available to limit data usage (AT&T Only)

  • When on the cell network, employee should limit data usage to work related activities (AT&T Only)
    • No streaming video or other data intensive activities while on the cell network (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc.)

  • Tethering should not be done on a regular basis without prior approval from IT (AT&T Only)
    • Data usage should be limited to work related activities
    • No streaming video or other data intensive activities while tethering (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc.)

  • T-Mobile tethering will be automatically throttled after 14GB of usage

  • When traveling internationally, employee shall coordinate with IT (2 weeks prior to scheduled trip) in order to address/manage projected roaming and data usage/charges.
