Benchmarking (Toolkit)

Benchmarking for sustainable buildings is a measure of the quality of the design, construction, and operation of high-performance green buildings and neighborhoods and their comparison with standard measurements of its peers. Atelier Ten uses benchmarking as a tool to inform project owners and teams about the sustainability opportunities starting with the big picture and then delving into specific strategies for site, transportation, energy, water materials, and indoor environmental quality.

Atelier Ten is deeply committed to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) because it is the most widely used green building rating system in the world. Available for virtually all building project types, from new construction to interior fit-outs and operation & maintenance, LEED provides a framework that project teams can apply to create healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green buildings. LEED certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability achievement.
